El acero 30MnB5 (designación numérica 1.5531) es un acero aleado para temple y revenido conforme a la norma DIN EN 10083-3.

Los aceros al boro de esta norma presentan una templabilidad excepcional gracias a la microadición de boro, permitiendo alcanzar propiedades mecánicas elevadas en secciones considerables con un coste de aleación optimizado. No se suministran en estado recocido blando (+A).
