1.4006 / X12Cr13 / AISI 410 / UNS S41000 / JIS SUS410 es un acero inoxidable martensítico de uso general con ~12 % de cromo, el único tipo de inoxidable que puede endurecerse mediante temple y revenido para alcanzar resistencias mecánicas equivalentes a las de los aceros aleados de baja aleación. Combina una dureza y resistencia elevadas con una resistencia moderada a la corrosión y al calor hasta ~400 °C. SHUNFU METAL

El grado 1.4006 es el acero inoxidable martensítico de referencia: con tan solo 11,5–13,5 % de cromo y un contenido de carbono de 0,08–0,15 %, su microestructura transforma completamente a martensita durante el temple, lo que permite ajustar la dureza final mediante temperatura de revenido. En estado recocido es fácilmente mecanizable y conformable; una vez templado y revenido, supera los 700 MPa de resistencia a la tracción manteniendo suficiente tenacidad para aplicaciones dinámicas. A diferencia de los grados ferríticos o austeníticos, es magnético en todos sus estados de tratamiento.

En SHUNFU METAL, el 1.4006 / X12Cr13 se fabrica en horno de arco eléctrico con control estricto de carbono (0,08–0,15 %) verificado por espectrometría OES. La forja se realiza en el rango 900–1 150 °C con control de temperatura por pirometría infrarroja para evitar el engrosamiento de grano. El material se entrega con certificado EN 10204 3.1 e informe de tratamiento térmico cuando se suministra en estado templado + revenido.
