Hastelloy C-276 (UNS N10276, W.Nr. 2.4819, EN NiMo16Cr15W, GB NS3304/NS334, JIS NW0276) es considerada la aleacion resistente a la corrosion mas versatil jamas desarrollada. Pertenece a la familia Ni-Cr-Mo-W de Hastelloy serie C y destaca por su resistencia universal tanto en medios oxidantes como reductores, combinada con una excepcional soldabilidad que no requiere tratamiento termico post-soldadura. Desde su introduccion, se ha convertido en el material de referencia para plantas multiproposito donde las condiciones quimicas son variables o impredecibles. Suministrada por SHUNFU METAL bajo certificaciones ISO 9001 y API Q1, con ensayos de resistencia a la corrosion intergranular ASTM G28 en cada lote de produccion.

Perfil de la Aleacion Hastelloy C-276

El Hastelloy C-276 es la version forjada mejorada de la aleacion C original, con contenidos drasticamente reducidos de carbono (max. 0.01%) y silicio (max. 0.08%) que eliminan la precipitacion de carburos en la ZAT durante la soldadura, permitiendo su uso en estado soldado sin necesidad de recocido posterior. Esta caracteristica revoluciono la fabricacion de equipos de proceso quimico, eliminando los costosos tratamientos termicos post-soldadura que exigia su predecesora. Su composicion Ni-Cr-Mo-W le confiere resistencia simultanea a acidos oxidantes (HNO3, cloruro ferrico, cloruro cuprico, cloro humedo) y reductores (HCl, H2SO4, H3PO4), ademas de resistencia excepcional a la corrosion por picaduras, resquicios y tension en ambientes con cloruros. Es uno de los pocos materiales capaces de resistir cloro humedo, hipocloritos y dioxido de cloro. Soporta atmosferas oxidantes hasta 1038 °C manteniendo integridad superficial. Industrias objetivo: procesamiento quimico organico e inorganico, desulfuracion de gases, pasta y papel, farmaceutico, energia geotermica, marina y regeneracion de combustible nuclear. La clave del exito universal del C-276 reside en el equilibrio preciso de sus cuatro elementos principales: Ni (base ductil y resistente a tensiones), Cr (pasividad en medios oxidantes), Mo (resistencia en medios reductores) y W (potenciador sinergico de ambos mecanismos). El carbono ultra bajo (max. 0.01%) es la innovacion critica que diferencia al C-276 del C original: evita la precipitacion de carburos de cromo en borde de grano durante la soldadura, eliminando la necesidad de tratamiento termico post-soldadura. El alto Mo (15-17%) y W (3-4.5%) proporcionan resistencia excepcional a la corrosion por picaduras y resquicios en ambientes con cloruros. Tratamiento termico estandar: recocido por solucion a 1120-1175 °C, con enfriamiento rapido en agua. La temperatura de trabajo en caliente recomendada se situa en 950-1230 °C, evitando forjar por debajo de 870 °C. La microestructura austenitica resultante ofrece una combinacion de resistencia, ductilidad y tenacidad criogenica excepcionales. Los valores practicos de traccion del C-276 producido por SHUNFU METAL alcanzan tipicamente 750-800 MPa con alargamientos del 50-67% en chapa, superando ampliamente los minimos de norma. La aleacion conserva excelente ductilidad a temperaturas criogenicas y mantiene resistencia mecanica util en caliente hasta 925 °C (traccion a 1000 h: 15 MPa a 980 °C). Calificado para servicio en ambientes amargos segun NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156-3, con dureza maxima admisible de 35 HRC. Su permeabilidad magnetica excepcionalmente baja (menor de 1.001) lo habilita para aplicaciones con requisitos de no magneticidad.
