Hastelloy B2 (UNS N10665, W.Nr. 2.4617, GB NS322, NiMo28) es una aleacion niquel-molibdeno de endurecimiento por solucion solida, disenada especificamente para resistir medios reductores agresivos donde los aceros inoxidables convencionales fallan. Su aplicacion principal abarca el procesamiento de acido clorhidrico en todo el rango de concentraciones y temperaturas, asi como acido sulfurico, fosforico y acetico en condiciones no oxidantes. Pertenece a la familia de superaleaciones Hastelloy (Haynes International), concretamente a la serie B, caracterizada por base niquel con alto molibdeno y minimo cromo. Perfil de la Aleacion Hastelloy B2

Disenada con contenido ultra bajo de carbono (max. 0.02%) y silicio (max. 0.10%) para suprimir la precipitacion de carburos y fases intermetalicas en la ZAT durante la soldadura, eliminando la necesidad de tratamiento termico post-soldadura en la mayoria de las aplicaciones. Su alto contenido de molibdeno (26-30%) constituye el nucleo de su resistencia excepcional a acidos no oxidantes como HCl, H2SO4 y H3PO4. El control riguroso de hierro (max. 2%) y cromo (max. 1%) suprime la formacion de la fase beta Ni4Mo, responsable de la fragilizacion a media temperatura. Propiedades Mecanicas de Hastelloy B2 (Recocido por Solucion)

Tratamiento termico estandar: recocido por solucion a 1065-1175 °C con tiempo de permanencia controlado segun espesor, seguido de temple en agua rapido (max. 120 segundos desde salida del horno) para evitar la precipitacion de fases intermetalicas en el rango critico de 538-871 °C, donde las fases Ni4Mo y Ni3Mo causan fragilizacion irreversible. El laboratorio de SHUNFU METAL, acreditado bajo API Q1, certifica las propiedades mecanicas de cada lote mediante ensayos de traccion ASTM E8 y dureza ASTM E18 sobre probetas extraidas de la pieza de mayor seccion.
